It travels through the moisture-rich cambium and sap layer just beneath the outer bark. The extreme heat instantly vaporizes the water, creating steam that forcefully blasts a clean, continuous vertical strip of bark off the trunk. Many trees in Florida aren&#8217;t that lucky and get completely burnt from top to bottom but they still don&#8217;t give up. They exist mainly for the creatures that live there and secondly for us to enjoy. <\/p><p>This is what I&#8217;m talking about!
