An iconic yellow ducky who’s been part of the landscape on the Rainbow River in Dunnellon, Fl for years is no longer with us. The yellow ducky I’m referring to used to float just north of Swampy’s restaurant on the Rainbow River. I was informed by one of the employees at Swampy’s the other night that the yellow ducky had been struck by a floating branch and began to sink so the owners had it removed. I sincerely hope they can fix him and bring him back! Many people who float, kayak, or canoe the Rainbow River probably know this huge yellow ducky because it has been docked behind the owner’s house for years and used once a year in Dunnellon’s Rainbow River celebration.<\/p>

Everyone who has visited Dunnellon, kayaked the Rainbow River or has eaten at Swampy’s has probably seen this little ducky floating just to the north of the restaurant on the river. It would be a pity to lose the duck for good.<\/p>
