After every storm there are numerous plants and tress that are uprooted or moved by nature’s force, but the aftermath is equally as beautiful and all we need to do is get closer to take a look. Nature has a way of creating wonderful scenes with minimal posing or makeup. As a portrait photographer specializing in capturing people I can tell you that capturing landscapes is by far the greatest and most relaxing thing I’ve ever done. My subject never moves or frowns or gets fidgety. They simply sit ready and willing and ask nothing of the viewer.

Lately I’ve been experiencing a lot of trash left behind by humans and even though I try to pick up what some people have left behind I sometimes capture a scene without noticing the trash until I’m editing. Sometimes I don’t even catch it while I’m editing and end up printing the image later on.

This image was taken right as the sun was going down and I was so excited to take the shot that I completely missed the empty bottle in the foreground. This is a great example of what I mean.
